Purification

Purification technologies for custom manufacturing

Evonik’s core technology of chemical and biological purification is also available as a service for our custom manufacturing clients. The available, highly efficient tools include chromatography, ion-exchange chromatography, liquid extraction, evaporation and stripping, membrane filtration (micro- and ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis), adsorption, and crystallization. These operations can be applied to any kind of molecule, such as active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, fine chemicals, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, phytosanitary compounds, and other applications.

We have extensive experience in extracting and purifying compounds such as amino acids, their derivatives, peptides, stereo-isomers, organic acids, and active pharmaceutical ingredients from biological origin or chemical synthesis mixtures. Our research & development group will develop a tailored solution for your purification problem. The purified product can be delivered in solution or as crystallized dry powder and will meet the agreed standards that have been established for our product portfolio, such as cGMP compliance , HACCP or special hygiene controls.
