Flavors

Amino acids are also important ingredients in the manufacture of flavors. The well- known Maillard reaction between amino acids and sugars creates favourable roasting smells and flavors. L-Proline or sulphur containing compounds like L-Methionine are useful to produce these reaction aromas. Our amino acids manufactured by fermentation are meeting the legislative requirements for the production of natural flavors.
